  1. Nice looking picture. It’s been a long time since I last visited Wells and the moat at the Palace and I don’t think the swans were there then.

    • There is a family of swans there currently but unfortunately I saw only this one when I was there. They had variously decorated ones all over Wells between June and September last year which were then auctioned off and raised over £110,000 for local charities. This swan, Guinevere, was bought by a consortium of Wells’ residents so that it could remain in the moat.
