Cliff Slate Quarries

More South West Coast path – this time the disused slate quarries on the cliffs at Bagalow between Tintagel and Trebarwith Strand. There were nine working slate quarries on the coast about five miles either side of Tintagel with the slate being used for paving and splitting into roof tiles.
