Smugglers’ Cove?

image

Another photo taken along the beautiful South West Coast Path near Tintagel in Cornwall. There appears to be what looks like a man-made entrance part way up and into the cliffs from this bay which was pretty much secluded.  There seemed to be some brave souls who climbed down the cliffside to get on the beach but without knowing the area I wasn’t brave enough to try.

    • I hope so too……! I would have loved to explore further but didn’t feel at all confident about venturing over the cliff. I’m sure there was a way down but I wasn’t going to risk it! Love the linked article you have in your blog – explains quite well the myths and mysteries of Cornwall’s coastal heritage. Thanks for visiting.
